It's The 70th Anniversary of Hiroshima bombing!



This month marks the 70th Anniversary of bombing on Japanese city of Hiroshima without prior warning which to date remains the most controversial event in the history of atomic attack. By Call of Culture

On the morning of August 6, 1945 at 8:15am, American Boeing B-29 bomber Enola Gay dropped the first atomic bomb in the closing stages of the Second world war by the parachute which exploded 1900ft above the ground level killing countless people and due to the bomb's heat level being too intense some even vaporized into thin air, most of them died due to long-term effects of the radiation illness.
 
Presently on the 70th Anniversary, people from all walks of life around the globe will commemorate through events, concerts, exhibitions, symposiums and featuring documentaries etc, it is imperative to honor victims and by sharing the stories of the survivors to raise awareness of the inhumane effects of the nuclear weapons on the mother nature and the mankind.

Atomic bomb survivors who are also referred as Hibakusha in Japanese highlighted their aim to achieve a world free of nuclear weapons for the future generation by essentially educating the youth to take necessary steps in weapon disarmament or broadly speaking eliminating the use of all variety of weapons used in killing by instigate them the sense that every life matters.
