Through its continuous efforts in the
corporate social responsibility programs, Lomar recently launched Nabd, an
annual creativity fair in collaboration with Onqoud. Aiming to put the
spotlight on Saudi's dynamic creative scene, the event brought together a diverse crowd of artists, designers,
and innovative minds to share their works, ideas, and experiences.
As a creativity fair, Nabd aimed
to unleash the artist within everyone and help them build their creative
confidence by introducing them to new ideas and points of view, Nabd’s
beginning needed a theme that focuses on capturing Saudi's collective pulse through
the different perspectives around us. With that in
mind, “Wejhat Nathar” was chosen as the theme for this year, The beauty behind
‘point of view’ lies in the fact that it is one of the most essential parts of
the human experience; it is something we are all familiar with because we all
have a viewpoint.
Through its various activities, Nabd
focused on unleashing the imagination and artist within everyone and building
their creative confidence. As a result, both participants and visitors were
encouraged to contribute creatively to Saudi's collective pulse.
Nabd’s fair hosted multiple activities
including a group art exhibition featuring artworks of 19 artists using
different mediums, a local designs showcase featuring works and products by
local designers. The fair also included workshops for adults and children, and
art talks that exhibited Saudi artists and initiatives.
The fair was inaugurated by Mr.Loai
Naseem, Designer and Founder of Lomar and was attended by a number of
Socialites and Social media influencials including the poet Mr.Saeed alManea,
the social media icon Mr.Mohammad AlNehait, and members of Telfaz 11 team.
Lomar as
