Since ancient times creativity found its way even during hardship and survival states. Human beings began composing visual forms of lines and strokes to communicate creatively.

Language in general is a vast and complex subject but the visual artistic form relating to semiotics and aesthetic is what concerns us. Abstract forms containing elements of language has variable impact on the receiver according to their contextual experiences.  That interaction with the way these elements are executed, is the essence of communication.

In such a universal theme, this exhibition sheds light on the various creative expressions transforming symbols and language codes to shape new identities relating to urbanism, poetry and psychology.

In this exhibition, words and letters composed in an abstract manner by different mediums, colours and forms, determine each utterance and rhythm.

At times, the word is reconstructed to create a new form, other times the power of one element from written language creates a visual poem.

Some artists explore the meaning and translations and others restrict meaning to empower the form. Whether the artist sticks to using ink and paper or liberating the word from its traditional form, this exhibition brings together the power of the word as a tool of artistic expression. This subject remains to be the most abstract expression in art showing the infinite ways to creatively exploring the word and the need to communicate that unites us as human beings.
